How to Make a Spray Tan Last Longer
You can't stop your skin from renewing itself — but you can slow the fade dramatically. These are the habits that separate a four-day tan from a ten-day glow.

Daily habits that extend your tan
- Moisturize morning and night after your first rinse — hydrated skin holds color longer.
- Take shorter, lukewarm showers instead of long hot ones.
- Pat skin dry with a towel; rubbing accelerates exfoliation.
- Drink water — hydration shows in how evenly your tan wears.
What quietly strips your color
- Chlorine and long soaks in pools or hot tubs.
- Oil-based body products and harsh soaps.
- Exfoliating mitts, loofahs, and scrubs — save them for when you're ready to remove the tan.
- Frequent shaving — keep strokes light and infrequent.
Top up between appointments
For a boost between sessions, the studio's Tanning Drops mix into your moisturizer — more drops, deeper color. Two to four drops gives a light, sunkissed refresh; six to eight a medium golden; eight to twelve a deep bronze.
