During your appointment
What you wear while being sprayed is entirely your comfort choice. Many clients wear a dark swimsuit or underwear; whatever you choose, keep in mind that anything worn during the session creates a tan line. Your technician will talk you through options before starting — the studio is private, so take whatever makes you comfortable.
After your appointment
- Wear loose, dark clothing to prevent streaking or fabric transfer while the color develops.
- Choose flowy pieces over anything tight — skip leggings, skinny jeans, and tight straps for the first hours.
- Dark fabrics hide any initial cosmetic bronzer that may lightly transfer before your first rinse.
- Flip-flops or loose slides beat sneakers and socks on tan day.
What to avoid
- Tight waistbands, bras with narrow straps, and fitted sleeves — pressure marks show up as light lines in the developing tan.
- Light-colored clothing you care about, at least until after your first shower.
Common questions
Will the spray tan stain my clothes?
The initial cosmetic bronzer can lightly transfer to fabric before your first rinse, which is why loose, dark clothing is recommended. It washes out of most fabrics.
Can I get dressed right after my session?
Yes — once the technician confirms you're dry, you can dress. Just keep it loose and dark.
