When Should I Shower After a Spray Tan?

- Use lukewarm water and keep it quick; this first rinse is just a rinse, not a scrub.
- Expect brown-tinted water — that's the cosmetic bronzer washing off, not your tan. Your developed color stays.
- Skip soap on the first rinse, or use a gentle wash only where needed.

Every shower after that
- Shorter, lukewarm showers keep color longer than long, hot ones.
- Use gentle, hydrating body wash rather than anything stripping or heavily fragranced.
