Hours 0–8ish: development

• Lukewarm water, quick rinse, no scrubbing.

Hours 24–48: settling

• Color evens out and settles into its final tone.
• Normal life resumes — workouts, swims (briefly), and events are all fair game.
• Start the longevity habits now: short lukewarm showers, pat dry, moisturize twice daily.

The rest of the week
